On September 11, the RESPONSE Regional Online Stakeholder Workshop on “Developing Operation Plans for Marine Pollution Training Programs” was successfully completed. The workshop brought together stakeholders from different Black Sea countries and diverse organizations, all of whom play a key role in the development and implementation of marine pollution training programs.
The aim of the workshop was to create an open dialogue with stakeholders, allowing RESPONSE experts to gain a deeper understanding of their needs, gaps, requirements, and priorities. This valuable input will help shape tailored operation plans, fully incorporating stakeholders’ insights and contributions.
The event hosted more than 90 participants and included presentations on the objectives of the project, the aims of the workshop, and the outputs and achievements of the project so far. \n\nDiscussions focused on five key aspects for developing operation plans:
1. Key training objectives
2. Target audiences
3. Training activities and tools
4. Temporal and geographic aspects
5. Success metrics
The feedback received revealed clear trends that will be analyzed, evaluated, and integrated into the operation plans, as well as into upcoming project activities, which will include pilot applications and participatory processes.
Stay tuned for more updates!
