RESPONSE participated in the BS-SEOS kick-off meeting, held in Constanta on December 16-17, 2024. The BS-SEOS (Black Sea Smart Marine Environmental Outcome System) is an Interreg Next Black Sea Basin project aimed at establishing a standardized communication system for collecting and sharing environmental data from mobile stations and regional databases. By integrating AI-based forecasting techniques, the project will provide accurate predictions to support informed decision-making and address key environmental challenges in the Black Sea.
During the event, opportunities for synergies with EU and other relevant projects or initiatives were explored. RESPONSE’s representative, Mr. Razvan Matescu, presented the project’s scope along with its initial outputs and results, effectively disseminating its progress to date. The meeting also served as a valuable platform to gather feedback, strengthen partnerships, and raise awareness of the project’s objectives and its potential contributions to the sustainable conservation of the Black Sea region.
