Black Sea NGO Network (BSNN), Varna, Bulgaria held a media event and discussion with experts promoting the RESPONSE project https://www.response-project.com/ to local administrations, officials, community members, search and rescue volunteers and non-governmental organisations. The event is part of the information activities designed to highlight to the wider public the project aims to develop and test new training schemes and curricula for monitoring, reporting, managing and mitigating the effects of marine pollution, with particular attention to pollution caused by armed conflicts. Training needs and capacity to address emergencies at sea at national level were discussed.
