Exciting news!!! Our project partners recently participated in the 1st DOORS Stakeholder Conference, held in Bucharest, Romania, on 23-24 April 2024. During the event, our team had the opportunity to present the project’s key objectives and progress to a diverse audience of stakeholders. By engaging in high-level panel discussions and interactive co-design workshops, our partners successfully enhanced networking opportunities and raised awareness about the project. This participation was instrumental in fostering collaboration with regional, European, and international initiatives, while strengthening our project’s visibility across the Black Sea region.
The conference provided an invaluable platform for exchanging ideas on the sustainable blue economy, the development of the Digital Twin Ocean, Ocean Literacy, and the science-policy interface. The highly interactive format allowed our team to gather valuable input, which will contribute to shaping the project’s future and ensuring its lasting legacy. With active participation from all Black Sea countries involved in DOORS, the event proved to be a significant milestone in our efforts to inform, engage, and inspire stakeholders towards a more sustainable future for the region.
